Scott continues to broaden his experience in all facets of the energy industry especially as it begins to converge with corporate sustainability, most recently stepping into the role Manager of Energy and Sustainability with the Starbucks Coffee Company.
Scott was formally Chief Operating Officer and President for XChanger Companies, Inc., a fast-growing HVAC energy conservation measure (ECM) and consulting company. He has also served as Senior Operations Manager at Pepco, as Branch Chief in the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, VP Commodities at Bank of America, Director at Constellation Energy, Exelon and Enron and as an energy consultant with both KPMG and EY.
With over 20+ years of deregulated energy and public utility industry Scott has served in progressively responsible leadership roles pertaining to energy sourcing, renewable energy procurement and development, risk management, commodities trading, sales operations, marketing, engineering and project management of major corporate sustainability initiatives. Scott holds a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering Management from the University of Maryland UC and Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Kansas.
