Spencer Gill oversees customer operations for Hydro One’s 1.4M customers—including residential & small business customers, commercial & industrial customer, and key accounts—and leads a team of nearly 500 engaged customer advocates across the province.
Under Spencer’s leadership, Hydro One has renewed its customer strategy to focus on customer experience and the critical importance of building trust and delivering value. Spencer believes that customer decisions will drive utilities to modernize their networks and enable new energy solutions to assist customers with their energy transition.
Spencer has been with Hydro One for 13 years and has held multiple roles within the organization, including Strategic Advisor to the President & CEO, Director of Customer Solutions & Key Account Management, and Director of External Relations. Throughout his career, he has influenced numerous policy decisions, and he currently represents Hydro One at the OEB's Framework for Energy Innovation Working Group looking at DER enablement.
